To start with, it should be understood that The SPARK 10 series comprise four models – SPARK 10 Pro, SPARK 10, SPARK 10 C and SPARK 10 5G supported 5G network.  The great people at TECNO sent me SPARK 10 and here is my first impressions. 

The  SPARK 10 is targeted at the youthful consumers, a group that enjoy documenting and sharing everything going on in their lives. True to that TECNO did launch the phone at University of Nairobi with sole aim of attracting the lovely but sometime misunderstood Gen Z. So let’s start with the camera. The dual 50MP + 0.8MP rear cameras and 8MP selfie camera turn even amateur photographers to semi professional or do I say to non -amateur 

The entire SPARK 10 series is equipped with dual soft lights on both the front and rear cameras.The built-in 10 Lux soft light provides just the right amount of flash that does not glare, and the intensity of the soft light is adjustable in three levels for different lighting conditions.To ensure users will always get the perfect selfie, any overexposure is immediately corrected by the Super Flashlight Algorithm to achieve a balance of brightness between the background and the subject, while concealing user’s blemishes and accentuating their beauty. All of this makes the SPARK 10 Series the lighting pro in your pocket.

With a 6.6-inch display, quad-core processor, and massive 5000mAh battery, this phone has enough power and endurance for everyday use. The dual SIM slots, dedicated microSD card slot, and Android 13 software also make it versatile and capable.  If you’re on a budget, which I believe most  Kenyans are now due to the high cost of living but still want a smartphone you can rely on, the Tecno Spark 10 deserves a spot at the top of your list.
