SemaBOX announces Kenya’s premier podcasting event

Kenya’s podcast studio and incubator SemaBOX has announced that it will be hosting #PODEXNBO, a creators’ event targeting podcasters in the country.  

The event will be held on the 6th and 7th December 2021 at the Baraza Media Lab on the 6th and 7th of December 2021 and will bring together different creatives from the podcasting field. 

#PODEXNBO will feature learning workshops, panel discussion and presentations from some of the biggest names in local podcasting including Dan Aceda of SemaBOX, Melissa Mbugua of Africa Podfest, Adelle Onyango of Legally Clueless Podcast, Calvin Wakungu from The Mics are Open Podcast and James Smart, Podcast Editor of Nation Media Group amongst others. The panel discussions will be streamed online on different social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.  

 “We are thrilled to bring together various creatives for a chance for them to network and learn from each other, in the end, we are all a family of creatives,’ said Dan Aceda the CEO of SemaBox. 

In addition, the event will have learning and sharing sessions that will feature a masterclass by CNN camera specialist Nick Migwi, a digital tools workshop by Google News Fellow Ken Kiunga and many others.
