For the first time since launching 10 years ago, the prestigious MTN Business App of the Year Awards are inviting app developers and coders from the rest of the continent to enter. MTN is looking for the best apps on the continent and the top will be named the App of the Year and walk away with USD 70 000.
To qualify for entry into the Best African Solution, developers have to be living outside of South Africa, but within an African country and their app needs to be developed locally within their region.
To date, these awards have played a vital role in elevating local entrepreneurs and showcasing exciting new innovations within the ICT industry in South Africa. MTN Business is pleased this year to broaden this platform and to invest in and recognize African tech talent.
Developers willing to participate in the award are advised to submit their applications via this link.
Submissions close on the 9th of August 2021. The best African Solution will be announced at the MTN Business App of the Year Awards being held virtually in September 2021.
