Martin Mirero joins Ajua as Chief Technology Officer

Martin Mirero joins Ajua as Chief Technology Officer to accelerate the expansion of Ajua’s Integrated Customer Experience platform across Africa. In this role, Martin Mirero will lead the development of Ajua’s advanced technologies and drive the infrastructure growth of the company.

Martin is a seasoned ICT professional with over 15 years’ experience in mid and executive-level ICT leadership. He has leveraged his expertise as a technology expert to connect people, processes and information technology to create business and consumer solutions that add value and drive positive change for organizations, in both the private and public sectors.  

Prior to joining Ajua, Martin served as the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at Huduma Kenya, a transformational national program building integrated service delivery platforms to transform citizen service delivery across all-of-government. Martin was instrumental in developing the core team, the organization’s IT strategy and policy frameworks including IT governance structures, IT PMO and change management setup and IT Service Management. Having established the agile software development practices for product development and delivery within the government, Martin steered the architecture and scaling of Huduma’s end-user-computing environment that now serves up to 1.5 million customers per month.

Martin will lead the engineering team and manage the scaling agenda of Ajua’s technology platform as we build Ajua’s IntegratedCX platform across multiple geographies on the continent.

Martin has worked closely with the private sector, governments, and public sector agencies of some of the largest and more vibrant economies in Sub-Saharan Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya. He holds an MSc in Computer Science (Distributed Information Systems) from the University of Essex, England, and a BSc Computer Science (Hons) degree.
