Nakuru becomes the third town to enjoy Zuku Fiber services in Kenya

The Nakuru residents who have been longing to have Zuku Fiber services can now breath a sigh of relief as Wanachi Group Kenya finally launched Zuku Fiber in Nakuru, making Nakuru the third town to enjoy Zuku Triple Play services after Nairobi and Mombasa. Zuku Fiber is Wananchi Group;s home information, communications and entertainment brand, that is available to more than 400,000 homes in Kenya. Zuku Fiber is the pioneer and market leader in the provision of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) services in Kenya. In Nakuru Zuku Fiber will be offering its popular Triple Play services with home internet, digital television and telephone services to customers.

Speaking during the launch in Nakuru, Wananchi Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thomas Hintze said “The launch of Zuku Fiber in Nakuru is a continuation of the expansion plans of Zuku Internet services across Kenya and the region. Wananchi Group has continued to expand its network coverage in Kenya and has the largest coverage with more than 330,000 homes in Nairobi and Mombasa. Last year we further expanded our footprint to include the regional cities of Dar-es-salaam and Kampala”.

In extending its services to Nakuru, Zuku Fiber has met the requests of many customers for Zuku Triple Play services which delivers a combination of Home internet, Television and Telephone services to homes within residential areas at affordable prices. To celebrate the introduction of Zuku in Nakuru, Zuku will be offering the first One Hundred (100) customers in Nakuru FREE Digital Television services for one year and a free home telephone. Furthermore all customers taking up the services in 2018 will be offered discounted  Zuku Triple Play packages until the end of the year.

All Zuku Fiber packages are available at the Zuku shop in Nakuru located at Westside Mall, at Zuku Fiber branded tents and from uniformed Zuku Fiber Sales Representatives. Initially Zuku Fiber in Nakuru will be available in Naka 1 and Naka 2 within the Free Area / Area 58. Zuku Fiber plans to extend its network coverage further to provide services to other residential areas in Nakuru.

Zuku Fiber Triple Play offers a combination of three features for home information, communication and entertainment services as below:

The first feature of Zuku Fiber Triple Play is the popular Home Internet with the latest Fiber network technology enabling speeds of upto 250Mbps, which is currently the Fastest Internet Speed in Kenya and also in East Africa. Zuku Fiber Triple Play offers packages starting from as low as 5, 10, 30, 50, 100 and its pedigree 250Mbps as part of its internet access packages. This enables users with different budgets and speed requirements to find a package that suits their needs and their budgets easily.

The second feature of Zuku Fiber Triple Play package is a bouquet of Digital TV services including popular Kenyan Free-to-Air channels and a large selection of over 126 TV channels. Various genres of popular local and International TV content covering news, sports, movies, lifestyle, documentaries and entertainment among others are provided in the TV bouquet. Additionally, customers can choose to add more bouquets to their Triple Play service by subscribing to Premium and Asian bouquet services to enhance their viewing pleasure.

The Third feature in Zuku Fiber Triple Play is its home telephone. The home telephone offers the lowest local calling rates to of Ksh 1/= to ALL NETWORKS enabling you and family to stay in touch and make long calls to family and friends at a pocket friendly price. All Zuku to Zuku calls are FREE. The Zuku Home telephone is available for FREE after topping up airtime of Ksh 499/= on the Triple Play service.
