East African Breweries Limited (EABL) has unveiled an off-trade consumer promotion aimed at rewarding consumers of all Beer, Ready-To-Drink and Spirits brands.
The promotion which will last for eight weeks, will see shoppers win prizes worth over Kshs.10 million on a daily, weekly and monthly basis if they purchase EABL products with a red dot sticker in over 150 retail outlets countrywide.
“This is the second time we are having the Red Dot Consumer Promotion, following the great success of the first edition that run over December 2015. The promotion is designed for our consumers who buy our products at retail outlets, with a view to enjoying them at destinations other than pubs or restaurants,” said Andrew Kilonzo, Premium Trade Sales Director at KBL.
To participate, shoppers who purchase products with the red dot sticker will have to scratch to reveal a seven-character code, which they will send via SMS to the number on the bottle. Then, they will stand a chance to either win daily instant cash prizes or be entered into weekly, monthly and grand draws.
The promotion will start on 27th February 2017 and run for 8 weeks. The grand prize is a brand new BMW X1, a top-of-range luxury car brand with off road capabilities. In addition, EABL will also reward consumers with cash, home theaters and Smart TVs and shopping vouchers.
Partners joining the campaign off-trade outlets including Nakumatt, Chandarana, Ukwala, Uchumi, GAME, Quickmatt and Carrefour. The promotion also covers various wines and spirits shops, participating fuel forecourt convenience stores and shops amongst others. All consumers that participate in this promotion must be 18 years old and above. Consumers with inquiries or complaints will have access to a 24-hour helpline number.
The Red Dot Consumer Promotion follows another successful EABL Guinness national consumer promotion in which consumers won various prizes and a grand prize of a trip to the United Kingdom to watch a live football match.
