In a bid to woe customers back to the platform Multichoice has announced a reduction in DStv subscription rates for the different packages they offer in Kenya. The new prices will be effective as of 1st November this year. This move comes after the company increased the prices siting increase in operation costs.

Apart from the reduction in prices, DStv have also gone ahead to add new channels to the different packages. The Premium bouquet subscribers will now receive an extra 4 new High Definition (HD) channels. This will bring to 16 the number of HD channels available with the package.
Customers subscribed to the Compact Plus package will enjoy 11 new channels while those on the Compact bouquet will receive 6 new channels. The Family bouquet and the Family Access package will each receive 5 and 3 new channels respectively.
