Ever had a feeling that you can’t put in words? One of those that you can’t really put in words. Or one that doesn’t deserve words. It’s too good.
For me, it usually is the glorious moment I sink my teeth in a good chicken leg. Fried. Deep fried at that. I know, it had to be about food. That’s one.
Well, there are those moments and Coca-Cola has been famously touting the #TasteTheFeeling line.
A few weeks ago, a friend and I travelled through Nakuru, past Moi’s perch to the cuddle of the Baringo Hills. (Scenic country, this). As we got past the point where almost all cars overheat and boil over because of the steep hills, the weather got cooler, more beautiful, more serene. Baringo truly is beautiful, with a winding road nestled between a cliff with occasional mini-falls and all the nature sounds you just can’t nail in a white noise app. We got quieter, the car got cooler; we smiled more. That smile you give the windshield in silence. Winding down the window, despite the chill, just to hear the birds chirp a little above the NZE engine’s whir and the tires crunching the tarmac. The calm. Life’s backseat drive. That was my most recent magical moment. That was my Coke moment.
You can also try to put your feeling in more than words. In a GIF, for that matter. Pictures don’t cut it. Moving, animated pictures are the it. GIF’s where it’s at. If a picture is worth a thousand words, GIFs are worth 2Gs, or 5Gs. Try out yours in this amazing web tool put up by Coca-Cola.
This is an easy way to create GIFs on the site that won’t take you more than a minute. Plus, it’s loads of fun!! The page loads with the famous Taste The Feeling song (it’s playing in your head right now, isn’t it) with a little spin-the-bottle action and prompts you to type in your feeling. Share buttons (Facebook and Twitter) and a download button pop up. Easy peasy.
Go on. Go ahead. Taste and share that feeling with Coca-Cola right now at GIFthefeeling.com
