Sony unveils MP- CL1 portable projector for smartphones. The projector uses a laser light source and is capable of delivering Full HD resolution images with a contrast ratio of 80,000:1 at an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a maximum brightness of 32 ANSI Lumens. In short, if you have the projector you don’t need to visit the big cinemas in town, you can watch something on the go using your smartphone or tablet.

The projector is stylish and one can move around with it in the pocket or handbag. “So compact and lightweight, you can put the MP-CL1 in your bag or pocket and take it with you. Wherever you go, your visual entertainment can go with you.” Sony wrote.

The mobile projector can display a screen size of up to 120 inches at a distance of 3.45 metres. To add on the specs, the handheld projector has a number of connectivity options. Users can connect their smartphone or tablet via HDMI or MHL. The device also comes with built-in Screen Mirroring feature that allows users to mirror content via Wi-Fi.

Sony has just created one of the best devices that suit home entertainment and conference related presentations since it comes with a built-in speaker. Users can display their content straight from their smartphones to MP-CL1 projector which makes work very easy.

Currently, people always struggle to establish a sharp focus when using the traditional projector; which can be hectic. However, the MP- CL1 has a focus free projection which uses Sony’s Laser Beam Scanning technology and doesn’t need a flat surface for you to view stuff; the sharp image remains in focus even on curved walls and other challenging environments.

The device also comes with a built-in 3,400mAh battery. Sony claims the battery can last up to 120 minutes of HD resolution playback. Other features include a HDMI to Mini-HDMI adapter, Micro-USB cable and a detachable two-way stand.
