Five latest budget and mid range smartphones at Jumia

Jumia is not that popular and that’s one of the reason we run five latest budget and mid range smartphones at Jumia every Friday. The online shopping mall increased its fellowship across the continent but not everybody gets the mall’s aim or nature of business. The other day in a matatu a guy asked,” where do you think I can get a genuine budget or cheap smartphone in Kenya besides Safaricom shops?” That was a random and unexpected question given that people always talk about politics and relationship issues in matatus. However, this guy wanted to know more about smartphones.

“You should visit Jumia – in fact, just Google the site and pick your ideal smartphone.” I replied. The guy seemed unsatisfied with my answer,” who is Jumia? I hope he’s genuine?” I wanted to laugh but he was naive – he had a feature phone and an old white earphone hanging on his shirt. “Dude, how comes you don’t know Jumia? That is the only online shop that comes up with knockoff Black Fridays and advertises their products extensively, well according to Twitter.”

To make things less weird, we went through five latest budget and mid range smartphones at Jumia.
