International digital agencies warm up for Kenya’s digital maturity

Global full service digital marketing agency has opened for business in Nairobi to feed the need of digital expertise and services in the region.

In order to expand its global footprint, the company is well positioned due to its exposure to the international support and experience that will help bolster the growth of the new agency. The launch will increase its presense to over 70 locations in over 45 markets.

Isobar Kenya is already working with Brighter Monday, CBA, Isuzu, Philips and Village Market. The agency’s capabilities include digital strategy and creative, social media management, SEO and SEM, digital reporting and analytics.

“Kenya’s digital maturity is developing at an exciting rate. The country’s creativity is meeting high-tech for the first time. Clients in Kenya have been thirsting for award winning creativity and digital expertise…. And now they have it,” said Chris Madison, Managing Director, Isobar Kenya.

Notably, Kenya is now acknowledged as the third highest intra-African investor after South Africa and Nigeria. Dentsu Aegis Network is the majority stakeholder with the balance equity being owned by local management.

Chris Madison has taken up the Managing Director role and is responsible for the agency’s growth in addition to driving clients’ digital strategy and increased ROI. Chris joined Isobar from TBWA where he was Head of Digital. Madison has also sat on the global digital advisory board for WPP, and was on the senior management at Millward Brown, in the digital analytics team.
