Netflix recorded huge success in video streaming services. The company has over 40Million subscribers worldwide and still growing. Well, Apple is planning to out-compete the internet provider. Apple started approaching studio executives in order to create television shows and movies distributed by Cupertinp based company. So soon you will be able to stream original Television Shows from Apple.
Apple will soon hire development team before the end of the year and start production in 2016. Apple has more than $200 billionĀ in cash reserves, company could also just purchase a production studio with a proven track record that would develop original content.

The development team will report directly to Appleās senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. Apple has a number of original programs distribution. Sometimes back Apple made an offer to formerĀ Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond to develop a show for American audiences, the deal was later taken by Amazon. Apple is also a significant playerĀ in the distribution of independent films across the globe.
The proposed content structure that will be offered by Apple is unclear. Digital Trends reports that Apple doesnāt have a subscription-based streaming model like Netflix, Hulu or Amazon. All content is sold at a premium cost through iTunes rather than a pay-per-month deal for access to a large library of licensed content.
Surprisingly, Apple will make original content exclusively available on iTunes for no cost. If limited to theĀ Apple TV platform, that would certainly be a selling feature for the rumored marked price $200 TV set, assuming the quality of the original television shows and moviesĀ is excellent.

Apple music will also play a huge role in the distribution of Apple’s original programming. More information about Apple’s video streaming will be announced in September 9th.
