Screen
Both phones posses features aimed at enhancing users work and social lifestyles. The screens have advanced resolution of 720×1280 thanks to the super-amoled spec that gives the user the same experience as that of watching a Samsung super-amoled television.
Perfomance
Designed for the young smartphone users who are heavy device users, The Phone has a Ultra Saving power mode which minimizes battery consumption. To cater for heavy browsing and internet usage, the devices have increased Octa-core CPU capacity that delivers fast and optimum perfomance allowing for multitasking and faster loading of webpages and games. The J5 that runs on android 5.1 has an internal storage of 8GB and a processor of 1.2GHz. The J7 on the other hand comes with a storage of 16GB and a processor of 1.5GHz
Camera
Samsung has included advanced technology on both the front and rear cameras creating crisp pictures even in low light. The J5 has a front camera of 5MP that comes with a flash to cater for lighting incase the user i in low light, and a rear camera of 13MP which also applies to the J7.
Battery
The J5 and the J7 both have a battery capacity of 2600mAh a standby time of 342 hours and 3000mAh allowing 354 hours of standby time respectively.
Applications
The devices come preloaded with Microsoft Apps- One Note, One drive and Smart manager app which provides improved power management by monitoring apps that use excessive battery power while also allowing for optimization of memory.
Both devices are currently available at Samsung shops the J5 going for KES21,000 and the J7 at KES27,000.
