Do you remember the question, what “if your smartphone can really give you an orgasm?”. Durex is back but now with turnofftoTurnon campaign. This time round the sexual well being company is looking at an app that will help you reconnect with your sex life.
According to a research by Durham University about the obsessive impact of technology in relationships, 40% of people admitted to answering their phones during sex. Well, Durex’es turnofftoturnon campaign targets to show couples what’s in their phones that can turn their dull bedroom experience into an amazing sex life. Here is a quick revelation on what you and your partner need to do in order to ‘pay attention’ to each other.
Did you miss the Earth Hour?
Well, in case you were not aware about Earth hour, it is an event held worldwide annually encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour which in this year’s case happened Saturday the 28th of March from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.
Organized by World Wide Fund for nature (WWF), the Earth hour has grown to engage more than 7000 cities and towns worldwide since inception in 2007. This is why Durex took the chance to talk couples into turning off their phones, and encouraged the couples to show commitment to the worldwide celebrated hour as well as benefit from traditional interaction and communication.
The ‘Durex Connect’ app is currently available for free on Android and will be out soon on iOS, providing a user-friendly way to synchronise one’s phone with one’s partner’s, so that neither can renege on the promise of dedicated, tech-free connection. At agreed times, or by spontaneous agreement, it will simply mask one’s phones’ home screen, effectively putting the handsets to sleep and removing all distractions.
