First ever TECHBONANZA coutersy of intel and major tech players

For the first time in East and Central Africa, Intel has launched Kenya’s inaugural TechBonaza that has brought together major players in the computer and tablet industry to make available high quality devices to the general public at affordable prices.

The three-day event runs from 5th to 7th December at the Sarit Centre. This annual event is unprecedented and will see 7 leaders in technology; Acer*, Asus*, Dell*, HP*, Lenovo*, Toshiba*, and Isurf* come together under one roof for the benefit of their consumers.

Tech consumers have been asked to show up and take advantage of the competitive offers that PC manufacturers and retailers have put together. Consumers will be able to enjoy great discounts on a variety of products and for those that cannot afford to make full payments, the companies will be working closely with financiers to offer affordable loans on IT devices bought at the event.

There will be various ‘buy now pay later’ packages offered by financiers at the event. These will include laptop and tablet loans processed within 24 hours as well as easy 12-month payment options to enable more people and small businesses afford the devices.

Expected at the event are general consumers looking to purchase personal computers, small and medium businesses, educational institutions and business professionals looking to adopt the latest technology to enhance their productivity. Some of the devices on sale will include the latest, never seen before, cutting edge products.

To make the event even more interesting Intel will demonstrate how they have powered the most advanced applications to enhance the user experience in areas such as automotive, education, business applications amongst others.

Access to relevant ICT is critical in preparing Kenyan citizens to be effective participants in the global knowledge economy at all levels in society, from the cities to the counties and sub-counties. This is why the company is creating practical solutions that have a positive impact on the lives of those that come in contact with technology.
