Nokia rolls out new software updates for Asha touch phones.

Mobile manufacturer Nokia, has began rolling out a new software update for its Asha touchscreen thread.

The new updates that will be available to both single and dual-SIM variants will include push notifications and an updated fastlane which now shows the notifications from the social media platform like re-tweets and Facebook likes.

As soon as the updates are ready to roll Nokia users will receive a push message to notify them and they can also check manually on their devices for the update by going to settings> phone update. Asha 230, Asha 500,Asha 501, Asha 502 and Asha 503 will receive the new software update.

“We are very focused on enhancing the user experience on all our devices. With this update, we have added voice guided selfie shots and panaroma modes in camera, a power save mode for improved battery life, video stabilization and parental control for the browser and Nokia store access,” said Nokia East Africa’s King’ori Gitahi.
