We love the age of information, it is exciting . It has made doing business and other things so easy. But it comes with its own threats and risks. In some cases people don’t even realize the magnitude of what they are facing. The threats facing Kenyan companies and individuals for example are serious and in some cases not easily detectable. It is important for people to understand what they can do to best protect their systems and information.
For that, AkiraChix is offering a professional development course on Information Security between April and June of 2014. This course of open to both men and women in the tech industry.

Tyrus Kamau, an industry expert and lecturer will be the facilitator of this course. He is the current Head of Risk and Security at Cellulant Group ,Consultant for the Nairobi Security Master plan.
First intake: April 2014
Duration: 3 months
Schedule : 3 days a week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 6pm and 8pm
