There is one thing common with all pregnant parents, they like feeling the fetus kick in the womb. They always tend to touch the womb in an attempt to locate the head, the legs and probably the hands of the fetus. There’s always a longing to hold the fetus in the arms but this craze cannot be fulfilled before the nine months elapse.

But parents who have the strongest craze to hold the fetus in their arms can now relax as 3D Babies, a company set up to print fetuses, has developed a 3D tech that allows you to hold your fetus in your arms. No it is not a new tech but just taking 3D printing technology a notch higher.

Our ultimate goal is to bring a smile to the faces of parents, grandparents, and other family members as they recall the day that they met their little one. Says 3D babies.

3D babies scans the fetus using 4D ultra sound for crafting the soft copy for 3D printing. There are currently three sizes that a parent can get: life-size which 8 inches and costs $600, half-size that is 4 inches and goes for $400) and a mini size that is 2 inches for $200. One may choose a clear gender or otherwise. Mothers can also choose to have their newborn babies be 3D printed by sending their 2D pictures to 3D Babies.

There are also those who cherish the idea of holding babies of celebrities. If this is your desire you can ask 3D babies to send to you 3D models of any celebrity’s baby of your choice. The 3D printed babies or fetuses are sent to you via courier tacked in a wooden box that one can’t confuse for a coffin.
