Hacker paid $100,000 by Microsoft

A hacker has been paid $100,000 by Microsoft for spotting a security flaw in Microsoft’s software. James Forshaw who heads a vulnerability research at Context Information Security was able to show Microsoft a vulnerability that will enable Microsoft develop defenses against entire classes of attack. Earlier Microsoft had paid Forshaw $9,400 for highlighting vulnerabilities on Internet Explorer 11. Having received $100,000 from Microsoft, Forshaw become the highest paid hacker in history.
