Participate and win with Google’s ‘Africa Connected’ Initiative

Google has introduced a competition for entrepreneurs whose lives have been transformed by the web. The competition targets entrepreneurs who exhibit creativity, interest in web opportunities, and innovation potential from the fields of photography, fashion or community activities.This initiative is open to anyone who can showcase how Internet has helped them better themselves and others.gOOGLE+PIX+2

The ‘Africa Connected’ initiative will award five successful entrants with $25,000 each, (Kshs. 2.125 million). The winners will also have the opportunity to work with a Google mentor over a six-month period. The deadline for submissions is October 11, 2013.
