Weza Tele which runs the famous Kenya mobile and web app Myorder has has emerged the winner at the IBM Smart Camp, Nairobi league. Weza Tele will proceed to the interview stage in Johannesburg, South Africa October 9 2013.

There are Local SmartCamps where selected startups pitch their company’s value propositions. The winner heads to the Regional SmartCamp where winners from various local SmartCamps compete. One regional winner heads to the Global Finals to compete for the title of IBM Global Entrepreneur of the Year which Kenya’s MoDe, a microcredit facility firm won in February 2013.

I have use my order in a number of occasions to order food and I think they are doing amazing job. The process is simple, go to the site myorder.co.ke, select item, place an order. Notifications are sent to designated mobile of choice when the order is placed, detailing the name and the phone number of the customer, as well as the pricing and details of his/her order.
