Samsung New Software Update to Address Galaxy S4 Storage Issue

Written by

At long last Samsung is rolling out the update for Galaxy S4 to address  some of the issues with S4. For example the 16GB variant of Galaxy S4 which I use has Maximum space of 8.882GB. Compare that to Samsung Note II of 16GB variant with maximum space of 11.75GB. Samsung will allow S4 users to move apps to a microSD card. At the same it has freed up about 80MB of memory, bringing the total accessible storage count up to 9.23GB.

  • An average phone user would rush buying the phone thinking that the available storage is 16GB and nothing less or more than that. He doesn’t wanna know some space is used for apps or system files. That’s intelligent conning on the part of the manufacturers.
