To follow in the success of Galaxy Pocket, Samsung is planning to add a music centered device to the Galaxy Range low end devices. Samsung Galaxy Music GT-s6010 and a dual SIM version will be available in Germany later this month. Being a low end device and probably made for this market and other developing countries I expect it to be launched in Kenya before the year end or very early next year.
The Galaxy Music has 512 MB of RAM, a Cortex A9 single core at 850 MHz and a 1300 mAh battery. Then there is 3-inch display with 320 × 240 pixels . On top of that it comes with 4GB internal memory, expandable to 32GB microSD support . It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has two pronounced speakers on the front both at the top and bottom of the device, covering the whole width.
The focus of the phone is on the music and therefore as part of the software the device has Music Square, Find day Playcast and Smart Volume .
