Coop Bank Partner with Airtel Kenya to Provide M-Banking

Co-operative Bank of Kenya and Airtel Kenya have entered into a partnership that will enable Co-op Bank Mobile Money Subscribers to deposit and withdraw money directly from their phones using their Airtel lines. This service will also enable the customers to pay their utility bills, receive bank transaction alerts, check account balance and receive mini statements among other services. The service will be available to all registered Co-op Bank Mobile Money subscribers with Airtel lines.
Co-operative Bank say it will continue to be committed in ensuring that its 2.8 million customers can access their money at their convenience from any of the 105 branches, 450 ATMs, 3,700 Coop kwa Jirani Agents and through various partnerships such as this; with Airtel Kenya.
