Essar Group to Sell 72% Controlling stake in Yu Mobile

The  Essar group is  preparing to sell its 72% controlling stake in Yu Mobile. According to wrd.mydigitalfc.com Essar group has appointed French banking major BNP Paribas to help it encash the best value from the sale of its controlling stake in Essar Telecom Kenya. Top official of Essar was quoted as saying:

“We have appointed BNP Paribas for the sale of our controlling stake of around 72 per cent in Yu Mobile. We expect the valuation for the same to be several hundred million dollars,”

It seems the peculiar nature of Kenyans is not helping the Mobile network operators from India and Yu already finding it an uphill task to conquer.
