VC4Africa to Hold Nairobi Meet-up

VC4Africa, Africa’s largest entrepreneur and investor network this Thursday 31 May hold its second meet-up in Nairobi at the Hilton Hotel’s Jockey Pub from 7.00PM till 10.00PM. The event is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to meet and network with potential investors, mentors and like-minded individuals over a cold Tusker and share ideas, challenges, opportunities and contacts.

VC4Africa is a fast growing network of entrepreneurs and investors dedicated to building innovative companies in Africa. Started as a LinkedIn group in mid-2008 by serial entrepreneurs Bill Zimmerman and Ben White, it has grown organically into what is now the largest online community dedicated to entrepreneurs and investors building companies on the continent. It has members in 159 countries and supports more than 200 ventures in 30 African markets. The community is free for anyone to join and the entire network and its content remain open and accessible. Entrepreneurs will find cutting edge tools and unique information they need to bring their business ideas to the next level.

The network also organizes offline-networking events and has hosted meet-ups in 26 cities around the world. The events are aimed at maximizing interaction and networking and are thus kept informal and usually have no speakers or agenda.

The event is free of charge and everyone is expected to pay for their own drinks. It’s an informal event and the dress code is business casual.
