This morning Kenya ICT Board will award ICT innovators a total of 1.28 million dollars (ksh104,960,000) .The Kenya ICT Board will award 21 local ICT start-ups with a maximum of $50,000 (Ksh4.1 million), each, in a competition that will also see eight individuals win a maximum of $10,000 (Ksh820,000) each. The funding, organized through the board’s project, Tandaa Local digital Content, will also see one local company get $150,000 (Ksh12,3 million), which they (the company) will match to $300,000 (Ksh24.6 million).
