There are only three days remaining before the deadline for apps submission for the Pivot East. Pivot East which started as Pivot 25 will be held on 5th and 6th June 2012. The shortlisted apps will do their pitching during the 2 days conference. It is an mlab East Africa initiative to bring focus on the Mobile developer and entrepreneur community in East Africa.
This year’s theme is Innovation and Enterprise.The following fireside chats will be used to build on the theme;
- Opportunities of entrepreneurship in the East Africa Region
- Financing challenges in the regional technological scene
- Role of corporates in stimulating innovation
- Social impact and the Social enterprise
- Role of innovation in driving the regional economy
