The Kenyan Army fight against Al Shabaab has been carried out on Land, Sea, Air and Online. Traditionally we are used to the first three, but the online war which some regard as propaganda is a new concept to Kenyans. But Major Chirchir has done a great job on twitter informing and updating the public about the current state of affairs on the front line.

Now it is seems that the efforts of the Kenyan Army are bearing fruits. Turkish Airlines, made the maiden flight to Mogadishu airport on Tuesday. It is the first long-distance international commercial airliner in some two decades to fly to Somalia.
Colonel Mohamed Adan, Somali police commander said:
We are very happy to see this country gradually gaining international attention, a step on the road towards development
So are things getting better?
