The other day I was forced to use Airtel sim card for sometime. Unfortunately  I found out that I had no idea on how to access or buy the Airtel bundles for my phone. Yeah.. that is why I have done this post. Airtel Internet Bundles 101 as a future reminder just in  case:

Prepaid internet bundles

  • dial *111# from your phone or go to the airtel menu on your modem to select your plan
  • Buy modem at Kshs 2299, Get 70MBs Free upon top up of Ksh 50 and above per Month for 12 months

Unlimited prepaid internet plan

  • unlimited 30 days @ kshs 3,250
  • dial *111# from your phone or go to the airtel menu on your modem to select your plan
  • Buy modem at Kshs 2299, Get 70MBs Free upon top up of Ksh 50 and above per Month for 12 months

Unlimited postpaid plan (24 hrs)

  • kshs 2,995 per month
  • refundable deposit of kshs 5,000
  • 12 months contract
  • visit any airtel centre countrywide to sign up
  • free airtel modem

Unlimited postpaid plan (nights & weekends)

  • kshs 1,995 per month
  • night time, applies from monday through friday, 7pm to 7am
  • saturdays, sundays & public holidays, applies all day & night
  • refundable deposit of kshs 2,000
  • 12 months contract
  • visit any airtel centre countrywide to sign up
  • free airtel modem

Postpaid internet bundles

  • Sign the Airtel postpaid Internet contract at your own risk. They have hidden clauses that will cost you as dearly as they did me. When the service gets wacky you’ll dismiss the contract… that’s when they strike. DO NOT SIGN POSTPAID CONTRACT AT ANY COSTS!!!
