IPO48 Nairobi 2011 And the winner is…..Tusqee Systems. Tusqee Systems is Kenyan based software development startup. Their idea SchoolSMS Premium which also won in Education, Government and Agriculture category at Pivot25, is Interactive Mobile Messaging System for schools.
The system provides simple and interactive tools for more than 35,000 primary & secondary schools in Kenya to interact with parents. It allows parents to query for exam results, fees balances and fees statements. On top of that schools are able to converse with parents and other stakeholders via SMS. Their punch line:
