Success- Lessons and Insights

When people think of success they look at it mainly from a monetary point of view. While I believe that there is nothing wrong with this, I do feel that success is a holistic state of living. One in which your relationships, business, health and wealth are at their optimum stage. And also one in which someone is able to give back with generosity and true unflinching, happiness.

Today I spent the day thinking on success, and what elements it takes to get there. Turns out I was not alone as Kachwanya seemed to be sailing on the same boat on Twitter.

Inspiration can come from the most random of places, and when you are truly looking, you tend to find gems in areas not previously thought of.

Case in point the below:

I fly with the stars in the skies
I am no longer trying to survive
I believe that life is a prize
But to live doesn’t mean you’re alive

Don’t worry about me & who I fire
I get what I desire
It’s my empire
And yes, I call the shots, I am the umpire
I sprinkle holy water upon the vampire

In this very moment I’m king
In this very moment I slayed Goliath with a sling
This very moment I bring
put it on everything, that I will retire with the ring
and I will retire with the crown, Yes
no I’m not lucky I’m blessed, Yes
clap for the heavyweight champ, Me

Moment 4 Life-Nicki Minaj

Truly speaking I did not expect to find my most inspiring moment of the day from Nicki Minaj, but guess what I did. I love these lines, they speak to the core of what I wish to attain, they whisper sweet words of encouragement whenever I am faced with a challenge.

The key they say is to get doing and not giving up, keep pushing strategically and there will be a positive through lessons learned along the way.

Have a successful week y’all!
