M-PESA
Mobile banking is the future ..case closed. Safaricom got another bank under its wings..Barclays Bank. And the outgoing CEO Michael Joseph is out rightly telling the banks that they either work with the Mpesa or else they become irrelevant in the not far distance future.
Anyway they are already doing it. Backlays is now the 8th bank to partner with Safaricom either as an agent or a super agent. Under the partnership Backlays account hiolders will be able to deposit, withdraw to and from their Mpesa accounts.
The M-pesa agents who bank there will also be able to purchase e-float for their daily operations.
