The following is except from her interview with standard and i thought this lady is destined for bigger thing. As it turned out she won the groove award and i think there is a lot still to come from her.
P: Many gospel artistes don?t go to such lengths in their singing careers. Why did you find it important to study music, as a gospel singer?
K: I?m a big dreamer. I think gospel music is a lot more dynamic than many people think. My style (Afro-fusion) is a bit different from what most local gospel artistes sing. I intend to take this to greater heights and that means I have to be well versed with music fundamentals. I did an undergraduate degree in Music Classics and in a short while, I will be back there for my postgraduate studies.
