Review of the new Nokia 515 and Price

Nokia has released a new feature phone, the Nokia 515. The phone comes in a contemporary design and is available in single SIM and dual SIM variants. The screen is protected with Gorilla Glass2 and black or white aluminium lightweight casing. The dimensions of the phone are 114 mm length, 48 mm width and  11 mm thick. The phone features some cool imaging features and a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, the smart camera offers a choice of image capture, editing and sharing options, including Panorama, Sequential shots, and Self-portrait. The built-in voice prompt guides people to ensure they are in the frame before taking the shot. The photos will be displayed on a TFT screen with 256k colours.

Nokia-515-is-a-Series-40-powered-handset-made-with-aluminumThe phone has social network integration so you can easily upload your photos to Facebook and Twitter right from the gallery. Nimbuzz is also preloaded on the phone for popular messenger services and it also comes with an email Exchange application for your email needs. It has a feature dubbed Nokia Slam which works by  transferring content such as images or contact cards to an adjacent Bluetooth-enabled phone in just a few simple clicks, without the need to pair devices.

The voice quality is HD capable for clear audio listening. Contact management provides the ability to sync contacts with Windows Phone 8 and Android devices. The phone could retail at around $149 – about Kshs.13,000 (before taxes and subsidies).
