Airtel partners with ECOBANK to launch Airtel Money in Chad

Airtel Chad has partnered with ECOBANK  to launch Airtel Money in Chad. The service will allow subscribers to carry out financial transactions on their mobile phones and enhance the delivery of financial services at affordable costs.

The launch ceremony of the new service was held at the Kempinski Hotel in the capital Ndjamena, in the presence Prime Minister Emmanuel Nadingar, Telecommunicatons Minister Alingue Jean Bawoyeu and members of the diplomatic corps in Chad.

Transactions will be very simple and completely secure. All the customer needs is a mobile phone and a personal password whenever he wants to complete a transaction. A simple registration is sufficient to enjoy this service. The client must be an Airtel subscriber, have a valid identification document and fill out a registration form.

Airtel aim to have  Airtel Money  in all areas covered by the Airtel network and encouraged the Chadian population to enjoy the service, which will connect communities and businesses across the country.
