Mydawa.com has announced that it has reached 10,000 customers just four months after it was launched into the Kenyan market. MYDAWA was launched in Nairobi in March this year with the aim of revolutionizing the pharmaceutical sector.

“We would like to thank all our users for their continued support and valuable feedback which has been instrumental to shaping our service so far. As MYDAWA looks to grow its customer base, we stay committed to providing them with quality and affordable medicines and health products that give them peace of mind” said the company’s Managing Director Tony Wood.

The announcement comes barely two weeks after the Kenya Association of Pharmaceutical Industry (KAPI) released a report of a survey noting the incidence of unregulated medicines in the Kenyan market.

MYDAWA Managing Director Tony Wood said, “Our customers can be sure of genuine quality products and further, we provide them a secure mechanism that allows them to verify authenticity. We are standing on our promise of delivering quality, affordable medicine, conveniently.”

The number of products available on mydawa.com has also increased and there are now over 1000 products that consumers can buy ranging from prescription and over the counter drugs to wellness products including multivitamins, supplements, personal care, cosmetics and hygiene products. Each product is secured with a unique tamper-evident seal that allows customers to verify authenticity of the products.

MYDAWA is expected to unveil other connected partnerships in the coming weeks in a bid to drive further value for users.

You can buy medicine and health products affordably from the convenience of your phone on www.mydawa.com or via the app, where you can access prescription drugs by uploading a photo of your prescription onto the platform.
