Samsung electronics has unveiled the Galaxy A (2016) smartphones; Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 in a call to change designs and tech to suit any given situation for users.

The devices whose screens range from 4.7 inches to 5.5 inches continue the latest Samsung Galaxy design heritage, combining metal and glass to create premium designs.

“At Samsung, we are committed to continued innovation, inspired by the feedback and needs of our wide range of consumers,” said Jung Hyun Park, the Vice President of Samsung Electronics East Africa Ltd. “With the introduction of the Galaxy A (2016), we took the consumer feedback on our original Galaxy A models and made thoughtful and impactful improvements offering consumers a seamless convergence of style and performance for their everyday lifestyle.”

Security

The Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 (2016) have the fingerprint verification feature which allows you to secure your personal content using your finger as opposed to the traditional password or secure pattern method.

Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy J1 changed the trend in budget smartphones when the company enabled 4G network. Other tech companies like Techno followed with their flagship devices which took the market by storm. To improve connectivity, all the Galaxy A (2016) models come with the latest 4G LTE technology and Galaxy A (2016) series users will thus enjoy fast 4G speeds.

Camera

The Galaxy A (2016) also comes equipped with an enhanced camera system for both brighter and clearer photos and videos. This advanced system includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to prevent image blurring, as well as a front and rear F1.9 lens to allow users to take the optimum photos in dark conditions.

What’s more, with Samsung’s Quick Launch feature, double clicking the home button launches the camera in less than a second. Consumers can also take their best selfie yet with features including Wide Selfie, Palm Selfie and Beautifying Effects.

Users can also enjoy extended phone usage with the Galaxy A series’ high capacity battery & high speed charging technology which reduces the charging time.
