Tennis is one sport that everybody would like to be associated with despite the fact that it’s not a universal choice of sport like soccer. If you are familiar with Hopman Cup, then you should probably get a StarTimes decoder and enjoy live tennis matches since StarTimes has the full rights to broadcast the Hopman Cup.

StarTimes broadcasted and will highlight all the 39 matches of the Hopman Cup, live from Perth which started on Sunday 3rd January to Saturday 9th January 2016. In addition, the service provider would like to make their users enjoy the fun from their homes. The fun will be unlimited because one will be able to get all the highlights of Tennis 4 from 11 January and the World Tennis Cup on 12th, 13th and 14th January 2016.

StarTimes provides that viewers have been given an opportunity to watch eleven top 40 players and three top ten players who will battle out and become the 28th Hopman champions.

Serena expressed his confidence in making a come back after she got a knee injury despite having to pull out of her Hopman Cup rubber against Australia Green’s Jarmila Wolfe.

“I just have some inflammation that’s been going away very slowly; it’s going away but it needs a little more time,” said Serena.

“Maybe a day off or two will really make the world of difference,” Serena said, adding that she had been physically worn at the end of the 2015 season.

“Usually I’m super-fast and wasn’t moving the way I like to move. Mainly I was afraid to move and I need to get in the space where I’m not afraid to move,” she said of her 5-7 1-2 loss to Jarmila.

“I came all this way to compete and do what I do best and be where I want to be the most, which is on a tennis court.” She concluded.

In her fourth appearance at the Hopman Cup, Serena Williams has her foot to become the first three-time champion. Williams joined world No.2 Andy Murray, French superstar Gael Monfils and Australia Gold’s Lleyton Hewitt and Casey Dellacqua, as some of the biggest names in tennis battle it out at Perth Arena.

StartTimes further provides that for the first time, two Australian teams competed in the Cup; Australia Gold and Australian Green with the other participating teams coming from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ukrain and the USA. The Hopman Cup founded in 1989 and named in honour of Harry Hopman is the official mixed gender team competition of the International Tennis Federation.
