Samsung Launches its Thinnest Smartphone, Galaxy A8

Samsung is currently offering the best smartphones that have captured everybody’s attention. The announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge made headlines because of the incredible features and the Iron Man Edition. I thought Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was the best device ever but the Galaxy A8 beats them all, well according to me. The metal-clad Galaxy A-series is trending in other countries.

The Galaxy A8 was launched in China and is currently Samsung’s thinnest smartphone with only 5.9mm. The launch comes after Samsung revealed the Android Flip Phone which unfortunately will be limited in China. The Galaxy A8 has a 5.7-inch full HD(1080x1920p) Super AMOLED display, which according to me is quite large as compared to a number phones.

Galaxy A8 is powered by a 1.5GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor and 2GB RAM, the phone comes in 16 and 32GB storage options with a microSD card slot for expansion. The camera is perfect for anybody who does photography and favors photo addicts. It features a 16MP ISOCELL rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera similar to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, the camera is reported to be incredibly vivid, bright and fast to give the best quality pictures.

People who like going upcountry every now and then this is probably the best device. The phone comes with a 3050mAh battery which is amazing. This year Samsung Galaxy J1 was highly promoted because of the Ultra Power Saving Mode which can save power for up to seven days with only 1850 mAh battery but that can not be compared to 3050mAh of Galaxy A8.

Galaxy A8 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. Fingerprint scanner I still believe is the best recognition method ever implemented on smartphones and the Galaxy A8 has integrated the same on the Home Button.

Currently Samsung has placed more concern on connectivity. The Galaxy J1 which is a low end phone is 4G enabled was appreciated by many people in the country because it’s cheap and provides better connectivity. Galaxy A8 supports 3G, 4G (both FDD LTE and TDD LTE), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. Reports The Times of India.

iPhone and Samsung compete to make the best devices but Samsung always know how to play around with impressive features that keep customers on their feet to get new brands. The best example is the Samsung S6 and the iPhone6 which were introduced in the market almost the same time. Many people find it hard to believe that Samsung S6 is better than iPhone6.
