Liquid Telkom Kenya rolls out first rural fibre optic project.

Siaya County will now enjoy high speed internet thanks to a 175 million worth project to be rolled out by Liquid Telkom Kenya as a first in rural Kenya.

The data provider seeks to connect a number of counties to faster and cheaper internet through which will also link the county headquarters sub-counties and wards to the central government. Cheap accessible internet connection will see the rural Kenya open up to opportunities with better information dissemination which will go a notch higher.

Education as well as job creation is anticipated in the region once the internet connection is established meaning more reliable platforms of knowledge and skills among already existing schools in the county. Placed perfectly to support business operations in Kenya, the firm also plans on rolling out more of these projects across other regions.
