MultiChoice set to Launch GOtv in Mombasa

MultiChoice and KBC (Kenyan Broadcasting Corporation) announced that GOtv, the newest  pay television service on the  Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) technology  is being launched in the coastal city of Mombasa on July 10, 2012.

GOtv subscribers will have access to news, children’s programming, documentaries, series and movies. The channels are carefully selected to cater for a variety of different tastes and cultures. The line-up is designed to ensure that viewers enjoy improved pictures and sound quality that is synonymous with digital television.

Some of the channels that will be available to GOtv subscribers include AfricaMagic Movies, AfricaMagic World, AfricaMagic Swahili, Aljazeera, BET, Channel O, Discovery World, E! Entertainment, One Gospel, KidsCo and Select Sport.

GOtv utilizes the latest DVB-T2 technology as approved by the Kenyan Government- GOtv launched in Nairobi in September 2011 and it will soon be launched in other cities across the country. To get GOtv all you need is a GOtv decoder and a stub or grid antenna. Check for more from www.gotvafrica.com
